We had a few guests over for Halloween: Teresa, Barb & Ken, Luke & Conor, Stuart & JoJo (oh, yeah, and Mike stopped by….).
After dinner, Teresa and Mom set up on the front porch and handed out candy, while the rest of the gang headed out into the night.
Our neighborhood was a little bit quiet, but after about an hour of trick-or-treating, the kids brought in quite a load.

Here she is riding her new bike (actually, we had it stowed away since last Christmas, but she outgrew her Kettler Trike, so we broke it out). At first she found steering difficult, but daddy taught her how to look ahead instead of down, and now she’s got it! See Video.

Well, we had a great summer, a bit hot of course, and it’s still going. Two big road trips and lot’s of BBQ’s and fun.

Kane loves his job, a bit challenging at times, but awesome all the same: he especially loves the hours, as he gets off at 3pm and usually has time to pick up Hope and Peyton from school. Lisa likes Kane’s hours too, as he is now available to help out a bit more (as if!). Anyhoo, we are looking forward to Halloween, will decorate soon, and are planning some real family time with Lisa’s family this holiday season. Oh, yeah, and Hope is learning to swim!
